Michael T. Renaud

Michael T. Renaud is a partner in the Boston office of Pepper Hamilton LLP. He also is a member of the firm’s Sustainability, CleanTech and Climate Change Team. He focuses his practice on litigation, licensing and client counseling on intellectual property matters involving patents, copyrights, trademarks or trade secrets.

Mr. Renaud has represented high technology clients in both state and federal court at the trial and appellate levels throughout the United States. He has successfully litigated cases in a variety of industries, including electronics, telecommunications and networking, digital imaging, computer software, medical devices, explosive detection systems, interactive voice response systems and subsea oil equipment.

Prior to joining Pepper, Mr. Renaud was a member of the Intellectual Property Section in the Boston office of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo P.C.

Mr. Renaud is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and various other federal and appellate courts around the country. He is a member of the Boston Bar Association and the Boston Patent Law Association.
