Cynthia De Lisi Smith

Cynthia De Lisi Smith is an associate with Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Princeton office. Ms. Smith represents clients in commercial transactions, with a concentration on real estate matters.

Ms. Smith’s real estate practice includes the following representative matters:

  • drafting office leases for both landlords and tenants
  • representing a ground lessor as the tenant in a ground lease and as a sublandlord in subsequent subleases
  • drafting contracts for acquisitions and dispositions
  • performing due diligence for acquisitions, including title review
  • drafting documents for condominium and planned real estate developments and assisting clients with ongoing compliance issues
  • researching issues related to easements, covenants and matters related to quieting title.
Ms. Smith also has been involved in many pro bono matters, including assisting a local land trust in the acquisition of properties for preservation.

Ms. Smith is a member of the board of the Risingville Intercommunity Service Effort (RISE), a charitable organization devoted to repairing homes for those in need. She also is a member of the board of the French American School of Princeton and participates in the Mercer County and Princeton bar associations.

Prior to joining Pepper, Ms. Smith was an associate at Drinker Biddle and Reath LLP.
