Bennett L. Aaron is of counsel in the Trusts and Estates Practice Group of Pepper Hamilton LLP. He is resident in the firm’s Philadelphia office. For more than 50 years, Mr. Aaron’s practice has been devoted exclusively to serving the needs of individuals who have accumulated wealth and assisting them in the transfer of this wealth for the benefit of family members at the least possible cost.
Mr. Aaron is past chairman of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Section on Taxation, Subcommittee on Federal Estate and Gift Taxes, and the author of several articles on estate and gift tax.
Mr. Aaron’s practice areas include:
- estate planning for highly compensated executives and entrepreneurs
- general representation of closely held businesses, with an emphasis on family owned businesses
- representing nonprofit corporations and charities on charitable giving techniques and fiduciary matters
- overseeing general estate and trust administration matters.
Mr. Aaron also has held leadership roles in various community organizations, both locally and nationally and served as president of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia from 1984-87.
